In case anyone's wondering, the cold turkey's going just fine. Haven't had a smoke or a drink, or been particularly worried about either. I've been taking my medicine and doing my mouthwash. The GvH in my mouth isn't gone yet, but it does seem better. I feel pretty good, cheerful - even after dealing with having my water AND power turned off (they're back on now) and the annoyance that brought on. Sigh. "Nobody's fault but mine..."
Looks like this weekend's shaping up. Gonna go over to Pensacola and pick up Lezlee, maybe go to the songwriter's convention down in Gulf Shores, do the Big Lebowski thing on saturday night with Missy and Andy and whoever else comes along - white russians and bowling, can you dig it? Actually, guess I won't be drinking white russians (or beer, and who can bowl without beer?) but I think I'll muddle through.
