Walked up the hill to Five Points last night and caught They Might Be Giants at the 5 Points Music Hall.
Damn! Can you gimme hallelujah? They rocked! It was so cool to see John and John. I got that feeling of "Oh wow, it's really THEM right here in this here room here!"
They opened with Spider. "He is our hero!"
We didn't stick around for the whole show. It was getting late and I am not used to standing packed in a crowd in a room full of smoke and REALLY loud noise... not to mention that I was jumping up and down and bouncing and stuff. My feet hurt. My legs got tired. But I was grinnin' like a fool.

So I'm headed home today. Soon as I finish this entry and get dressed and stuff, I'm packing as much as I can into the CRV and hitting the road. Time to jump back into my real life. I guess y'all know that I've been missing my place, missing my town, missing my kitten and friends. Hell, I even miss my job. So I'm ready. Nervous, but ready.
I've got so much STUFF here! Four computers to pack! Five if you count the Newton. But he's pretty easy to pack up.
Allright, I've now gotten so nervous about this that I think I will just go ahead and start doing it. Next journal entry should be from Mobile, folks!
